Sinus Lift

Worcester bone grafting & sinus lifts: advanced procedures to make dental implants possible for you.

To be a good candidate for implant dentistry, you need sufficient bone in your jaw to support the dental implant. If you’ve been told that dental implants are not an option for you because of bone loss (usually due to advanced gum disease or because you’ve been without teeth for a long time), talk with Dr. Samborski. He performs advanced dental bone graft surgery that replaces missing bone in the jaw.

Dr. Samborski performs bone grafting in Worcester, MA using your own tissue, moving bone from areas where you have sufficient bone to areas where you need more in order to support the dental implant. This is usually the procedure of choice for the bottom jaw.

When there is not sufficient bone in the upper jaw, a sinus lift may be needed. With this procedure, Dr. Samborski raises the bottom of the sinus, usually above the molars or premolars. In time, the space created by this procedure fills in with bone naturally or through dental bone graft surgery, creating enough bone to support one or more dental implants. The side effects of this procedure extend beyond comfort into snoring cessation and apnea reduction.

Dr. Samborski is happy to talk with you about your dental health and whether or not dental implants are right for you. If you are in Worcester and have insufficient bone, a bone grafting and/or sinus lift procedure may make it possible for you to enjoy the security and confidence of a smile restored with implant dentistry.
